ABOUT ARIZONA CAREGIVER COALITION

The Arizona Caregiver Coalition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for family caregivers across Arizona. We collaborate with the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Area Agencies on Aging, and other community-based organizations to strengthen caregiver resources and services.

Our Dedication

We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Arizona’s family caregivers through collaborative partnerships, advocacy, valuable resources, and essential respite services, empowering them to care for their loved ones while maintaining their own well-being.

Our Mission

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for family caregivers throughout Arizona by providing comprehensive support through collaborative partnerships, effective advocacy, valuable resources, and essential respite services. We work hand-in-hand with local and state agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure caregivers have access to the tools, information, and services they need. By advocating for caregiver rights, we strive to empower caregivers to continue providing vital care for their loved ones while maintaining their own well-being.

Our Vision

Our vision is a future where every family caregiver in Arizona, regardless of where they live, has the hope, resources, and support needed to overcome the challenges of caregiving. We envision a state where caregivers are empowered and equipped with the knowledge, tools, and services to provide quality care for their loved ones while maintaining their own well-being. In both urban centers and rural communities, caregivers will have seamless access to a network of support that includes educational resources, advocacy, respite care, and a sense of community. We strive to build a resilient and inclusive environment where caregivers are recognized, valued, and supported, ensuring that they never have to face the obstacles of caregiving alone. Through our efforts, we aim to create a brighter, more hopeful future for all caregivers in Arizona.

Our Values

At the Arizona Caregiver Coalition, we are deeply committed to supporting all caregivers with compassion, empathy, and respect. We believe that every caregiver deserves to be seen, heard, and valued, regardless of their race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, abilities, disabilities, educational background, or socio-economic status. Our mission is rooted in inclusivity, and we strive to create a welcoming environment where every caregiver feels supported and understood.

We also recognize that the strength of our organization lies in our diversity. We actively value and embrace the unique perspectives and experiences of our staff, volunteers, AmeriCorps members, Board, and community partners. By fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion, we are better equipped to serve the wide-ranging needs of caregivers across Arizona. Our commitment to these values ensures that we approach every interaction with an open heart and an open mind, building a coalition that reflects the rich diversity of the communities we serve.
